There are four of us, and food is where a SIGNIFICANT portion of our money goes.
When I shop, one of my teenagers always comes with me. I have them read ingredient labels out loud because the print is TINY, and if they struggle to pronounce what’s on the label, we usually end up putting it back on the shelf with little to no argument.
Now, do we eat everything we buy?
I did just toss a very sad looking green cabbage into the compost, but we’re getting so much better than we used to be.
