Decluttering Resistance? It’s Limbic Friction.

One of most interesting things I learned in school?
Our brains are wired to maximize pleasure, minimize pain, and conserve energy.
So, this is why you’d rather do almost anything else, but declutter!
There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s biology. It happens to all of us.
That resistance we feel even has a name, limbic friction. It’s the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. And when it’s high, you don’t declutter, not because you’re lazy, but because your body is trying to protect you from something it perceives as a threat.
