Decluttering Through TranscenDance: The Science and Soul of Movement
My friend, Jennifer Joy Jimenez , was a young dancer in New York City when she was handed an envelope. Inside was her grade for the semester. One of the categories she was being graded on? Her body. She received a C. That grade became Clutter in her body — something she carried in her muscles, her choices, her sense of self — spending years trying to measure up to a standard someone else decided for her. Until she chose a different story. And through dance, she didn't just tell it. She felt it, moved it, released it, and rewrote it from the inside out.
Long before science could explain it, humans instinctively knew that movement heals what words can't reach. And Jennifer Joy Jimenez has spent her life sharing this.
